Role Description

The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for modular interior projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing mood boards, drafting construction drawings, coordinating FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selections, and updating design documentation. The role involves collaborating with senior designers, project managers, and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained through execution. The Junior Interior Designer will also participate in site visits, measurements, and basic client presentations as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design and Space Planning, with the ability to translate concepts into functional layouts.
• Knowledge of Architecture principles and experience working with Construction Drawings for interior projects.
• Ability to select and coordinate FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) aligned with project design standards.
• Proficiency in design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic MS Office skills.
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field, with up to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced studio environment.
• Willingness to conduct site visits, coordinate with vendors, and support turnkey execution activities.
