Humancontext Solutions in Malur, Karnataka invites a Junior Industrial Engineer / Industrial Engineering Trainee. Freshers with B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in IE/Production/Mechanical are welcome to join the manufacturing team on the shop floor.

You will conduct time and motion studies, establish standard times, assist in line balancing and productivity improvements, and collect data using MS Excel while collaborating with Production and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Industrial Engineering/Production Engineering/Mechanical Engineering
• Basic knowledge of time study and motion study.
• Proficiency in MS Excel.
• Willingness to work on the shop floor.
• Good communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies and motion studies for shop-floor operations.
• Measure cycle time and establish standard times for operations.
• Identify bottlenecks and productivity losses on the shop floor.
• Support manpower calculation, line balancing, and capacity studies.
• Collect and analyze production data using MS Excel.
• Support 5S, Kaizen and productivity initiatives.
• Prepare basic IE reports and maintain time-study records.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality and other shop-floor teams.

Job Purpose

Support manufacturing productivity and process improvement through time study, motion study, work measurement, manpower analysis, and basic industrial engineering activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct time studies and motion studies for shop-floor operations.
• Measure cycle time and establish standard time for operations.
• Identify unnecessary movements, bottlenecks and productivity losses.
• Support manpower calculation, line balancing and capacity studies.
• Collect and analyse production data using MS Excel.
