Job summary

Photon Tadpole Studios in Mumbai is seeking a Junior Game Developer to join a small, focused team of experienced developers.

You will create technical specs, develop features end-to-end, and contribute to game design discussions using Unity and OO languages. The ideal candidate has 0–3 years in game dev, published titles, and familiarity with iOS and Google Play publishing.

This role offers hands-on development in a collaborative studio with opportunities to learn and grow.

Qualifications

• 0 to 3 years of experience in game development.
• Ability to reason about algorithms and performance.
• Worked on at least 1 published game.
• Experience publishing games to iOS App Store and Google Play Store.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience working with Unity.
• Experience with an object-oriented language (C++, C#, Java).
• Sound fundamentals in 3D game development (3D math, rendering, materials/shaders).
• Ideal candidate also has experience with animation systems.
• Experience with 3D game engines like Unreal/Cocos2D-X and OpenGL ES or DirectX.
