Job summary

Ohmium Bengaluru is seeking a Junior Engineer in Quality to oversee in-process and final QA across system assembly and MEA manufacturing. You will inspect against drawings, BOMs, SOPs, and control plans, ensure traceability and proper documentation, and support line clearances and changeovers.

The role requires 2–3 years in manufacturing QA, with strong GD&T, measurement tools proficiency, and knowledge of ISO 9001 practices.

Qualifications

  • Diploma/Bachelor in mechanical, electrical, electronics or industrial engineering with 2–3 years of QA experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of inspection techniques and quality tools.
  • Familiarity with GD&T, drawings, and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001 and QMS practices.
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and control plans.
  • Proficiency in measurement tools and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct stage-wise inspections during system assembly and MEA manufacturing processes (IPQA).
  • Perform final inspection of finished systems and MEA assemblies before FG release (FQA).
  • Validate product quality from manufacturing completion to FG/shipment; ensure records are complete and approved.
  • Raise NCRs and participate in RCA and CAPA.
  • Maintain inspection records, checklists and quality reports; support audits.
  • Identify quality improvements and drive trend-based enhancements across processes.
  • Coordinate with Production, Warehouse and Supply Chain teams and liaise with suppliers and customers on quality issues.
