Job summary

Tetra Pak is seeking a Junior Engineer Mechanical Maintenance to join our Pune facility, based permanently at Chakan, Pune. You will follow safety rules, manage spare parts per SOP, and perform preventive maintenance with SAP updates. You will address breakdowns quickly and contribute to maintenance improvement initiatives.

The role requires 3–5 years of maintenance experience, SAP basics, and engineering qualifications. The posting expires 15 Sept 2026.

Qualifications

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering from reputed institute.
• 3–5 years of maintenance/spare parts experience.
• SAP knowledge and basic WCM skills for breakdown/anomaly analysis.

Responsibilities

• Follow production safety rules and work according to procedures.
• Receive and sort spare parts and consumables per SOP and 5S.
• Perform preventive maintenance and update equipment tree in SAP.
• Attend to breakdowns onsite to minimize downtime.
• Participate in maintenance improvement teams.

What you will do

• 1. Follow production safety rules. Work according to existing Procedures/ Standards
• 2. Receive and sort Spare Parts, Consumables/ Supplies as per SOP and 5S standards
• 3. Participate in regular Preventive Maintenance4. Maintain MDM request. Base on Requests update Equipment tree in SAP
• 5. Works according to existing procedures/ Standards and Maintenance process:6. Attend to breakdowns onsite ensuring a rapid response and that plant equipment and machine breakdown time is minimised7. Participate as a member in Maintenance Impr teams

We believe you have

• Diploma / Degree in Engineering from reputed institute
• Experience in Maintenance/Spare Parts of 3-5 years’.
• SAP basic knowledge WCM skills for breakdown/ Anomaly analysis.
• Expereince and skills in identifying Root Cause and develop countermeasures to address Machine technical knowledge Production processe knowledge is preferred
• This is an permanent role based at Chakan, Pune.
