Job summary

A leading tech services company is seeking a Junior DevOps Engineer with a strong AWS background to automate tasks and handle production issues. Candidates should have experience in CI/CD tools, monitoring solutions, and solid knowledge of security practices. Ideal applicants will hold a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and should be comfortable adapting to startup culture. This role is located in Bangalore-HSR Layout and involves a work mode of 4 days on-site and 1 day remote.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with AWS services.
• Proficiency in one programming language (Python, Go, or shell scripting).
• Proficiency in handling Production Issues.
• Familiarity with RDBMS/NoSQL (e.g., Postgres, MongoDB).
• Experience with microservices and cloud-native tools.

Skills

Automation: Passion for automating tasks, using tools like CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform

CI/CD: Experience with tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins

Monitoring: Familiarity with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana

API & Load Balancing: Understanding of REST, gRPC, Protocol Buffers, API Gateway

Strong Linux OS concepts

Knowledge of security practices (OWASP, static code analysis)
