Requirements

Must have

• A degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or similar experience.
• Curiosity about how things work.
• A passion for learning and developing new skills.
• Obsession with automating everything and a passion for elegance and simplicity.
• Ability to jump into situations with few guardrails and improve them.
• Extensive experience with AWS services.
• Familiarity with at least one programming language, such as Python, Go, or shell scripting.
• Familiarity with LoadBalancing and API Gateway.
• Basic knowledge of REST or gRPC & Protocol Buffers.
• Understanding of Kubernetes and CloudNative Technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Github actions, Jenkins, etc.
• Infrastructure automation with infrastructure as code tools - CDK, CloudFormation, Terraform.
• Familiarity with monitoring and observability stacks like OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana.
• Experience with container infrastructures like Docker.
• Experience with RDBMS/NoSQL administration and management, such as Postgres and MongoDB.
• Experience with microservice architecture.
• Experience with configuration management.
• Excellent understanding of operating system concepts, especially Linux OS.

Nice to have

• Experience working for a start-up is preferred.
• Familiarity with AWS data engineering - DMS, Glue, Athena, Redshift, Quicksight.
• History of effectively working with and growing geo-distributed partner teams.
• AWS Cloud Certifications.
• Basic knowledge of security - OWASP, static code analysis.
• Fintech experience, security standards and compliance - PCI-DSS, SOC2.
