Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an AI/ML engineer to develop and integrate Generative AI capabilities into its digital learning and platform products. You will build AI-powered applications using LLMs, NLP, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases, and connect them via APIs to existing platforms.

The role requires strong Python coding skills, understanding of AI/ML concepts, and hands-on experience with Generative AI applications.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI/ML features in products.
• Proficiency with Python and software fundamentals.
• Familiarity with Generative AI/LLM-based apps and NLP basics.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate AI/ML capabilities into learning and platform products.
• Build AI-powered apps using LLMs, NLP, RAG, embeddings, and vector DBs.
• Develop APIs to connect AI services with existing components.
• Write clean, maintainable Python code and optimize prompts.
• Support data preprocessing, model evaluation, and testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.
• Prototype emerging AI tech and contribute to deployment and monitoring.

Job description

• Develop and integrateAI/ML and Generative AI capabilities into digital learning and platform products.
• Build AI-powered applications usingLLMs, NLP, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, and vector databases.
• Develop and integrate APIs to connect AI services with existing platform applications.
• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code primarily usingPython.
• Assist in developing and optimizing prompts for LLM-based applications.
• Support data preprocessing, model evaluation, testing, and basic machine learning workflows.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, UI/UX, Data, and other cross-functional teams to develop technology solutions.
• Build prototypes and proof-of-concepts to evaluate emerging AI technologies and use cases.
• Support the deployment, debugging, monitoring, and continuous improvement of AI-powered applications.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and other software development practices.
• Stay updated on developments inGenerative AI, LLMs, AI Agents, and AI application development.
