Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an experienced Electrical Revit Designer to join our Electrical team in a hybrid environment.

The role focuses on developing detailed electrical layouts using Revit, managing priorities, and delivering high quality outputs under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate has hands-on Revit electrical experience (mandatory), knowledge of AutoCAD, and familiarity with MTOs and vendor-drawn updates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience in REVIT Design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD as well.
• Knowledge of Navis Works Review.
• Diploma in Electrical or ITI.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed electrical layouts in Revit.
• Prepare and check Material Take Off (MTO).
• Update the model per vendor drawings.
• Extract drawings in MicroStation from the model.
• Work from sketches or Excel inputs.

Your impact

At Jacobs, we are seeking an experienced Electrical Revit Designer to join our Electrical team. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Revit for electrical design, with proven experience in developing detailed and accurate electrical layouts. The role requires someone who can work independently, manage competing priorities, and consistently meet tight deadlines while delivering high‑quality outputs.

• 5 + years years of experience
• Should have basic knowledge of electrical cable tray route, locating lighting, fixtures, support requirement.
• Hands on experience in REVIT electrical (Mandatory)
• Preparation and checking of Material Take Off. (MTO)
• Updating the model as per vendor drawings.
• Extract drawing in MicroStation
• Should be able to work on the inputs in the form of sketch or excel sheet
