Job summary

Jacobs invites an experienced BIM Coordinator to lead 3D BIM modeling for Electrical, ELV and ICT systems in a hybrid Mumbai setting. You will coordinate across engineers, clients and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate design solutions and timely deliverables.

You will apply BIM protocols, ISO 19650 standards and manage Revit families, supporting junior modellers and QA processes to uphold quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's in Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years of REVIT experience.
• Experience delivering CAD and BIM models and drawings to schedule and quality standards.
• Ability to coordinate with engineers, clients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in clash detection and resolving clashes using BIM workflows.
• Create and manage Revit families and model content for delivery.
• Apply BIM Execution Plans, BIM protocols, ISO 19650 and project standards.
• Communicate changes and updates to stakeholders clearly.
• Support QA activities and incorporate client feedback into deliverables.
• Mentor junior BIM modellers to maintain quality and standards.
• Collaborate across design disciplines to protect overall design integrity.

Your impact

In this role, you'll develop and coordinate detailed 3D BIM models that support the delivery of building projects across multiple disciplines. You'll work closely with engineers, BIM professionals, clients and consultants to create coordinated designs, resolve clashes before construction, and help improve project outcomes through high-quality digital delivery.

This is an opportunity to take ownership of BIM deliverables, contribute to multidisciplinary project teams, and expand your expertise in BIM coordination, clash detection, ISO 19650 standards, and digital design workflows. You'll also have the opportunity to support and review the work of junior BIM professionals while collaborating with experienced engineering teams on complex projects.

• Develop and coordinate 3D BIM models for Electrical, ELV and ICT systems using Revit across multiple levels of development (LOD).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in REVIT
• Deliver CAD and BIM models, drawings and project deliverables in line with agreed schedules and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, clients and multidisciplinary project teams to ensure coordinated and accurate design solutions.
• Perform clash detection, clash analysis and clash resolution activities using project BIM workflows.
• Create and manage Revit families and model content required for project delivery.
• Apply BIM Execution Plans, BIM protocols, ISO 19650 requirements and project-specific BIM standards.
• Communicate design changes, technical updates and coordination requirements effectively with stakeholders.
• Support technical quality assurance activities and incorporate client feedback into deliverables.
• Review and provide guidance on the work of junior BIM modellers to maintain quality and compliance with project standards.
• Work collaboratively with other design disciplines to maintain the integrity of the overall design.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Demonstrated ability to develop and coordinate BIM models for Electrical, ELV and ICT systems.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP for BIM modelling and project delivery.
• Experience performing clash detection, clash analysis and model coordination using Navisworks or equivalent tools.
• Ability to manage BIM deliverables and prioritise work across multiple projects.
• Working knowledge of BIM Execution Plans, ISO 19650 and BIM delivery standards.
• Understanding of domestic and international electrical, ELV, ICT and building code requirements.
• Experience using BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) within design review and coordination processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Ability to review technical information accurately and maintain high-quality deliverables.
• Collaborative approach to working within multidisciplinary design teams.

Preferred Background

• Diploma, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience supporting the delivery of building services projects involving Electrical, ELV and ICT systems.
