Job summary

upGrad in Bangalore is seeking a Junior Designer to support the design team across brand, digital, and communication needs. This role is ideal for someone at the beginning of their design career who is eager to learn and grow under guidance from a Lead Designer.

You will translate briefs into thoughtful visual outcomes, working with senior team members to build a strong foundation in craft, process, and contemporary design practices.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience, internships, or relevant academic projects in design.
• A portfolio that demonstrates design fundamentals, visual thinking, and curiosity.
• Working knowledge of tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or similar.
• Understanding of typography, color, layout, and composition.
• Willingness to learn, take direction, and refine craft through feedback.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
