Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Administer Oracle Exadata and databases on Oracle Cloud.
• Install, configure, and upgrade Oracle Database software and related products.

• Perform complex DR recoveries.

Responsibilities

• Expert in Oracle Exadata and databases (19c, 23ai, 26ai) on Oracle Cloud
• Installation, configuration and upgrading of Oracle Database software and related products
• Evaluate Oracle features and related products
• Expert in Oracle RMAN backup & recovery, cloning, duplication database
• Build standalone and cluster database
• Execute complex recoveries in DR scenarios
• Identify gaps and provide documentation/suggestions during execution
• Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures
• Take care of database design and implementation
• Implement and maintain database security (create and maintain users and roles, assign privileges)
• Implement Active Data Guard and high availability solutions for DR
• Perform database tuning and performance monitoring
• Setup and maintain documentation and standards
• Plan growth and changes (capacity planning)
• Provide 24x7 operation support
• Perform technical analysis and troubleshooting to fix issues
