Job summary

Interocean Group in Delhi seeks an interior design professional to join its in-house architecture and interior design team. The role covers end-to-end project execution, creating working drawings, models, and mood boards, and coordinating with architects, vendors for corporate/workplace interiors, renovations, and new constructions.

You will work under the HOD, ensure quality and cost control, and review all work before implementation in a multidisciplinary setting with internal and external

Responsibilities

• End-to-end execution of projects within the architecture and interior design team.
• Prepare working drawings, models, material & mood boards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural contractors and vendors to ensure superior workmanship and cost effectiveness.
• Design corporate/workplace interior spaces, consultations, renovations, space planning and new constructions.
• Develop layouts, building materials, furniture, MEP, color and lighting material selections.
• Maintain quality, adhere to plan, cost and overall project budget.
• Identify roadblocks and propose practical solutions.
• Work hands-on in a multi-disciplinary environment with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute as an independent professional or within a team and manage your scope and the overall team.
• Operate under the guidance of the HOD and ensure all work is reviewed before implementation.
• Ensure review/approval by the HOD prior to implementation.

Job description

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

1. 1. You will be part of our in-house Project team. The Architecture and Interior design team specifically responsible for designing high and interiors, incorporate / workplace / residential / guesthouses projects.
2. 2. Working closely with the design consultants in house & external respectively. You will be responsible for end-to-end execution of projects.
3. 3. Undertake design projects end-to-end & prepare, working drawings, models, material & mood boards.
4. 4. Coordinate with architects, structural contractors/ vendors. Ensure superior workmanship & cost effectiveness. Design corporate / workplace interior spaces/ consultation renovations, space planning & new constructions.
5. 5. Work on new layouts (not only limited to furniture & interiors), building materials, furniture, MEP, colour, lightening material selection, made to order furniture and all installations.
6. 6. Keep control on quality, design as per plan, cost and overall project budget.
7. 7. Be able to comprehend the roadblocks and come up with solutions/ suggestions etc.
8. 8. Be hands on with work and be able to work in a multi-disciplinary environment, and taking the various stakeholders (internal and external)
9. 9. Ability to work as an independent contributor and within a team environment and take everyone together and be responsible for your scope of work & also the over all teams.
10. 10. Work under the guidance and supervision of the HOD for all assigned works.
11. 11. Ensure all work is reviewed and approved by the HOD before implementation.
