Job summary

Dhruva Associates Landscape Architects invites a Junior Architect to join the Bengaluru team for a full-time, on-site role. You will assist in concept development, prepare architectural and landscape drawings, and produce 2D/3D visualizations for client presentations.

You will collaborate with senior architects and horticulture specialists, participate in site visits, and help translate client requirements into detailed design solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture (required).

Role Description

The Junior Architect will support the landscape architecture team in a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in concept development, preparing architectural and landscape drawings, creating 2D/3D visualizations, and contributing to design presentations. The role involves coordinating with senior architects and horticulture specialists, participating in site visits and measurements, and helping translate client requirements into detailed design solutions. The Junior Architect will also assist in documenting project progress, aligning designs with project timelines and budgets, and collaborating with consultants and vendors to ensure smooth execution.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with an interest in landscape and outdoor space planning.
• Ability to work with relevant Software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Adobe Suite) and support Integration of design information across drawings and documents.
• Basic understanding of Project Management principles, including task coordination, documentation, and time management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution.
• Good visual design sense, attention to detail, and ability to interpret and develop design briefs.
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Willingness to conduct site visits, learn horticultural aspects, and work in an on-site, office-based setting in Bengaluru.
