Job summary

Stackfusion Private Limited is seeking an Android developer to assist in building new Android applications under the guidance of a senior engineer. The role involves design, coding, testing, debugging, and documenting software, with clear status updates to stakeholders.

Candidates should be proficient in Java/Kotlin and Android Studio, familiar with SDLC, XML layouts, Git, and Agile practices. Experience with SQLite/Realm and REST/JSON is a plus, in a fast-paced development environment.

Qualifications

• Proficient in English, written and verbal.
• Experience with Java or Kotlin and Android development.
• Experience with Android Studio.
• Familiar with all phases of the software development life cycle: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment & support.
• Experience with XML layouts, especially ConstraintLayout.
• Familiar with version control tools like Git.
• Familiar with distributed cloud computing environments & modern software architectures.
• Familiar with Object-Oriented design & programming.
• Familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Sprints).
• Familiar with mobile server-based cloud computing & databases like SQLite and Realm.
• Experience with HTTP/HTTPS, REST, JSON and basic web development.
• Formal or informal Android mobile programming experience.
