Job summary

Turnaround International in Pune, India, is seeking an experienced accounts professional to manage day-to-day financial transactions, supplier payments, and reconciliations. The role includes ensuring timely tax compliance and supporting month-end activities.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance with 3+ years of restaurant accounting experience, strong GST/Income Tax knowledge, and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems such as Tally and Zoho.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
• Reconcile accounts payable ledger and ensure bills/payments are posted.
• Process employee payments via expense reports and advances; electronic transfers.

Role & responsibilities

• Performing day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted and posted.
• Pays employees by receiving and verifying expense reports and requests for advances, processed electronic transfers.
• Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process.
• Knowledge of processing international payments.
• Execute Vendor, Customer, Credit Card and Bank Reconciliation.
• Assist in month end closure activity.
• Monitor Tax liabilities and ensure tax liabilities are paid on time.
• Prepare the data for GSTR 1 and 3B return and ETDS Data quarterly.
• Prepare Sales invoices and follow-up with customers for payments.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
• 3+ years of experience in restaurant accounting.
• Understanding basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
• Sound knowledge about GST & Income Tax.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office such as Excel and Word.
• Good communication.
• Accounting software and ERP systems like Tally, Zoho.
