Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and post transactions accurately.
• Pass accounting entries for sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries.
• Maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable records.
• Prepare and maintain bank, party and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in preparation of monthly/periodic financial statements and MIS reports.
• Assist in GST-related work including basic understanding of GST provisions, tax invoices, Input Tax Credit and GST returns.
• Assist in reconciliation of GSTR-2B with purchase records/books.
• Assist in preparation and filing of GST returns under supervision.
• Maintain proper documentation and accounting records for audit and compliance purposes.

About the Role:

We are looking for a sincere, detail-oriented and responsible Junior Accountant with 24 years of relevant experience. The candidate should have good practical knowledge of day-to-day accounting and a basic understanding of GST and related compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and ensure accurate posting of transactions.
• Pass accounting entries for sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses and journal transactions.
• Maintain Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable records.
• Prepare and maintain bank, party and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist in preparation of monthly/periodic financial statements and MIS reports.
