Job summary

Clique Exports Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai is seeking a diligent Junior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting tasks within the finance team.

You will handle accounts payable and receivable, post general ledger entries, and assist with bank reconciliations, while ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards. Responsibilities also include assisting with financial reporting, tax filings (sales tax and payroll tax), and supporting audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting.
• 3-4 years of accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and receivable, including invoices and payments.

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Accountant to join our accounting team. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day accounting tasks, such as accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and reconciliations. The Junior Accountant will also assist with financial reporting and audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Role & responsibilities:

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable, including processing invoices and issuing payments
• Assist with general ledger entries and reconciliations
• Prepare and file various tax returns, such as sales tax and payroll tax
• Assist with financial reporting, such as balance sheets and profit and loss statements
• Assist with audits and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Perform other ad-hoc accounting tasks as needed

Preferred candidate profile :

• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• 3-4 years of experience in accounting
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
• Proficient in Tally ERP or other accounting software
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
