Job summary

Click Labs is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant in Mohali to support the finance department. In this entry-level role, you will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

You will gain hands-on experience under the mentorship of seasoned experts, working with MS Excel, Tally ERP, QuickBooks, and Zoho Books to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 1-3 years of accounting experience.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT/CT preferred.
• Proficient in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
• Experience with Tally ERP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books.

Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain ledgers.
• Process AP/AR invoices, reimbursements, and client payments.
• Perform regular bank, card, and inter-company reconciliations.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Help with GST, TDS filings and audits.
• Organize financial records and identify process improvements.

Job Summary

• We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to support our finance department.
• In this entry-level role, you will assist in maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities.

Key Responsibilities Bookkeeping & Data Entry:

• Record daily financial transactions in the accounting system and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable:
• Process vendor invoices, manage employee reimbursements, and follow up on client payments to ensure healthy cash flow.
• Reconciliations:
• Perform regular bank, credit card, and inter-company account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Reporting Support:
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Compliance & Tax:
• Help prepare documentation for GST, TDS, or other local tax filings;
• assist with internal and external audits.
• Administrative Tasks:
• Organize and maintain physical and digital financial records for easy retrieval.
• Process Improvement:Identify opportunities to automate data entry or streamline current accounting workflows.

Requirements & Qualifications Education:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce (B.Com), or a related field.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT/CT is preferred.

Technical Skills:

• * Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables).
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Tally ERP, QuickBooks, Zoho Books.
• Understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) or IFRS.
