Job summary

MBK Infrastructure in India seeks an entry-level Accountant to support daily financial operations, including journal entries, invoicing, and reconciliations. You will work with senior team members to ensure accuracy and timely reporting.

The role offers exposure to core accounting functions, with internships welcomed. Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks or Tally is preferred, and a bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Post and process daily journal entries, bills, and payments.
• Track accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), issue invoices, and follow up on overdue payments.
• Perform monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations to spot and fix errors.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and weekly or monthly financial reports.
• Support senior accountants during month-end or year-end closings and internal audits.

• Record Transactions: Post and process daily journal entries, bills, and payments.
• Manage Accounts: Track accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), issue invoices, and follow up on overdue payments.
• Perform Reconciliations: Complete monthly bank and general ledger reconciliations to spot and fix errors.
• Support Financial Reporting: Help prepare balance sheets, income statements, and weekly or monthly financial reports.
• Assist the Team: Support senior accountants and managers during month-end or year-end closings and internal audits

Preferred candidate profile :

• Education: A bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Entry-level to 1 year of general accounting or bookkeeping experience (often accepts internships).
• Software Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and common accounting software (such as QuickBooks or Tally).
