Job summary

Swiss Garnier Life Sciences in India is seeking a detail-oriented calibration specialist to ensure instrument accuracy within GMP frameworks. You will prepare calibration SOPs, execute schedules, review certificates, maintain records, and coordinate with QA, Production, and external service providers to uphold traceability and audit readiness.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review calibration SOPs, protocols, reports, and records.
• Maintain calibration records in accordance with GMP and data integrity requirements.
• Prepare and execute the calibration schedule for all critical and non-critical instruments.
• Perform in-house calibration of instruments wherever applicable.
• Coordinate with approved external calibration agencies for instruments requiring third-party calibration.
• Ensure calibration activities are completed as per the approved calibration SOP and schedule.
• Verify calibration certificates received from external agencies.
• Ensure traceability of calibration standards to national or international standards.
• Ensure proper identification and calibration status labeling of instruments.
• Monitor calibration due dates and prevent the use of overdue instruments.
• Maintain records of instrument history, calibration status, and calibration certificates.
• Coordinate with Production, Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Validation, and other departments regarding calibration requirements.
• Coordinate with external calibration service providers.
• Support regulatory inspections and customer audits by providing calibration-related documents and records.
• Ensure calibration systems comply with current GMP requirements..
• Maintain audit readiness of all calibration records.
