Job summary

Tata Communications Limited in Bengaluru seeks an early-career Sales Support professional to handle day-to-day operations under supervision. The role covers end-to-end pre and post-sales processes and manages customer/supplier relationships from quote to cash.

You will provide L1 sales support to assist sales teams, drive process improvements, and ensure SOX-compliant governance while coordinating with cross-functional teams to meet SLA targets.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Sales support handles end-to-end pre and post-sales processes from quote to cash and manages customer/supplier relationships.
• Provide operational support in the sales channel to assist sales associates and managers in revenue generation.
• Act as L1 support for Sales, resolving primary enquiries and directing issues to the right team when needed.
• Drive change management and digital transformation; familiarity with Optimus Lead to quote journey is a plus.
• Ensure governance in deals per corporate and SOX guidelines and provide feedback for process improvements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams via escalations to meet SLA.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales support is responsible for the support and administration of the sales function by managing the end-to-end pre and post sales processes and the customer/supplier relationship in its entirety (i.e. quote to cash).
2. Provides operational support in the sales channel to support sales associates and managers in their revenue generation activities.
3. Responsibilities include Sales Process support i.e., act as an L1 support for Sales and help them resolve the primary enquiries and issues and if required redirect them to concerned team member.
4. Should be able to drive change management and digital transformation, preferably if someone has hands‑on experience in Optimus Lead to quote journey.
5. Ensure appropriate corporate deal governance and SOX guidelines are respected and that the deals are appropriately scrutinized in the context of these guidelines Provide feedback for improvement/changes in methods and techniques.
6. Should be able to collaborate and lead engagement with various cross functional team members through interactions and escalations to meet SLA.
