JPMorganChase in Bengaluru, Karnataka, is seeking a Regulatory Reporting Associate to help define, refine and deliver regulatory reporting goals within the Finance team.

You will consolidate quarterly data, communicate financial information to business lines, and coordinate with Regulatory Controllers to file reports for regulators.

Qualifications

• 4 years in a Finance organization with exposure to accounting, financial statements, and/or regulatory reporting.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong time management, problem solving, written and oral communication.
• Team player, able to work across functions, locations and businesses.
• Excellent Excel and computer skills.

• Assist in the thorough assessment of the issues and outcomes.

• Participate in the production, review and filing of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports for regulators.
• Interpret and define regulatory requirements and coordinate internal and external policies.

As a Regulatory Reporting Associate in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining and delivering set goals for our firm.

Job Responsibilities:

• Apply up-to-date product, industry, and market knowledge in specialty areas of reporting.
• Consolidate, review, and analyze quarterly financial data for accuracy and completeness; perform quarter-over-quarter variance analytics.
• Coordinate data collection and quarterly business results with various lines of business, Regulatory Controllers and reporting teams.
• Assist in the thorough assessment of the issues and outcomes.
• Clearly communicate financial information to the lines of businesses, and flag potential issues.
• Participate in various aspects for the production, review and filing of monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual reports for various regulatory agencies that are used by the regulators for compiling widely-used statistics on the levels of, and changes in, domestic and international portfolio positions.
• Interpret and define regulatory requirements and coordinate internal and external policies.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• 4 years in a Finance organization with exposure to accounting, financial statements, and/or regulatory reporting.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Strong skills in time management, problem solving, written and oral communication.
• Team player, with ability to work effectively across diverse functions, locations and businesses.
• Excellent Excel and computer skills.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

• Knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx will be an added advantage.
• Experience in Product Control, Financial Control or knowledge Reg reporting a plus.
• Experience in discounted cash flow valuation a plus.
• Should be flexible to work in APAC shifts.
• Project management experience/skills helpful.
