Job summary

Xoriant is seeking a Platform Engineer (Networking & Security) to drive a Security-as-a-Service initiative. This hands-on role covers networking, security, and cloud data-path components, requiring strong OSI knowledge and practical experience with DPDK and Linux internals.

Candidate should be proficient in C/C++/Go/Java and comfortable working in a hybrid setup in Bengaluru. Immediate joiner preferred for a high-priority project.

Qualifications

• Strong networking fundamentals and OSI model.
• Experience with Firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Data path modules in Private and/or Public cloud environments.
• DPDK integration experience.

Role Summary

Looking for a Platform Engineer to work on a Security-as-a-Service product initiative. This is a hands-on data-path/platform engineering role spanning networking, security, and cloud data-path components.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong foundation in Networking fundamentals and OSI layers
• Solid understanding of network security concepts and secure network design/deployment
• Hands-on experience with Firewalls, security management platforms, routers, and switches
• Experience with data path modules in Private and/or Public cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with DPDK (Data Plane Development Kit) integration
• Strong OS internals knowledge (Linux preferred) memory, process, and networking stack
• Strong debugging/troubleshooting skills across product, network, and OS layers
• Language: C/C++ or Go or Java

Good to Have:

• Experience with enterprise firewall platforms (e.g., Firepower/FTD, ASA, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Check Point)
• Exposure to Agile delivery methodology
• Cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/GCP) in networking/security context
