Job summary

ElevenX Capital is seeking a hands-on Kubernetes/DevOps Engineer to manage and troubleshoot containerized applications and Kubernetes infrastructure in production. You will work closely with Development, QA, Support, and Infrastructure teams to ensure reliability, availability, and performance of systems.

The role emphasizes day-to-day Kubernetes operations, production incident resolution, and ownership of infrastructure components with strong scripting and automation skills.

Kubernetes / DevOps Engineer

Position Overview

We are looking for a hands‑on Kubernetes / DevOps Engineer with 34 years of experience in managing,

troubleshooting, and supporting containerized applications and Kubernetes infrastructure in production

environments. The ideal candidate should have strong practical knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS/EKS, Docker,

Linux, CI/CD, monitoring, networking, and cloud infrastructure. The candidate will work closely with Development,

QA, Support, and Infrastructure teams to ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of production systems.

This role requires someone who can independently troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, participate

in production incident resolution, and take ownership of day‑to‑day Kubernetes operations.

Required Technical Skills

Must Have

• 34 years of hands‑on DevOps / Cloud / Infrastructure experience.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with AWS EKS.
• Strong Docker/containerization knowledge.
• Hands‑on experience with Helm.
• Strong Linux administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Kubernetes production troubleshooting.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM, and Load Balancers.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
• Basic scripting skills using Bash and/or Python.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently on production issues.

Good to Have

• Terraform, Ansible, Argo CD, Istio, Prometheus/Grafana.
• Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, and Vault.
• Experience with Kubernetes production migrations or upgrades.
• Experience with cloud cost optimization.
• Experience working in a SaaS or high‑availability production environment.

Candidate Profile

Expected Technical Capability

Education & Certifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field

preferred. Relevant cloud/Kubernetes certifications are an advantage but not mandatory. Preferred certifications

include AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Certified Kubernetes

Administrator (CKA), and Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD).

Key Performance Expectations

• Within 3–6 months, become familiar with the organization's Kubernetes and AWS infrastructure.
• Independently troubleshoot common Kubernetes and infrastructure issues.
• Participate effectively in production incident management.
• Take ownership of assigned infrastructure components.
• Develop strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, and alerting.
• Contribute to operational documentation and runbooks.
• Identify opportunities for automation and infrastructure improvements.
• Within 6–12 months, independently manage assigned Kubernetes infrastructure and contribute to production

reliability, incident reduction, automation, and infrastructure optimization.
