Job summary

Terralogic in Bengaluru is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with hands-on Kubernetes, RKE, Docker and CI/CD expertise to manage containerized microservices, automate deployments and improve platform reliability.

You will work on production systems, write YAML and Python scripts, and collaborate with teams using Jira, Bitbucket and Jenkins. A commitment of 18 to 24 months is expected.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, RKE, Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience deploying and managing containerized microservices in production.
• Familiarity with YAML, Python, Shell scripting and Ansible.

Responsibilities

• Architect upgrades, downgrades and packaging of microservices in Kubernetes environments for development, production and post-production.
• Package and deploy builds in Kubernetes using Docker, VMs and Ansible for sandbox and production nodes.
• Troubleshoot production issues and design database solutions for deployments in containerized environments.

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Kubernetes, RKE (Rancher Kubernetes Engine), Docker, and CI/CD. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience managing containerized microservices, automating deployments, supporting production environments, and improving platform reliability.

Key responsibilities:

• Orchestrate/ Architect software apps required to Lead design of upgrades, downgrades and package of microservices in Kubernetes environment for development, production and post-production
• Package & Deploy the builds in Kubernetes environment using /Dockers/Virtual Machines/Ansibles[Sandbox & Production Nodes.].
• Handle production issues, support new microservice apps & database design for deployments in containerized environments
• Good at yaml, Python, Shell, Ansible Scripts
• Docker/container: Must know how to create docker images and create containers
• Must be familiar with JIRA, BITBUCKET, JENKINS
• Must know either of MySQL/Mongodb database management
• Domain : Microservice Applications

Value Add:

• Exposure to ELK, Kafka, Development experience
• ClickHouse , Influx DB expertise, Good understanding of Janusgraph
• Well‑versed with microservices and microfrontend architecture
• Ability to perform Scans and CVE checks and figure our critical findings

• Ability to translate functional / nonfunctional requirements to systems requirements
