Qualifications

• Bar Council of India membership required.
• Proficiency in English and Hindi; Marathi preferred.

Based in Mumbai, this role will manage high-stakes litigation, draft and negotiate complex contracts, and provide strategic legal support to minimize risk and enable business growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end litigation, including strategy, filings, negotiations, settlements, and court appearances.
• Liaise with police, courts, lawyers, and legal stakeholders to gather evidence and drive case progress.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts (NDAs, service agreements, vendor contracts, etc.).
• Advise internal stakeholders on compliance, risk mitigation, and dispute resolution.
• Conduct investigations and extract critical information from all relevant sources.
• Coordinate with external counsel and monitor litigation progress.
• Prepare case updates and reports for senior management.
• Conduct legal research and develop strategies for favorable outcomes.
