Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Jewelry Designer role based in Jaipur. The Jewelry Designer will develop original concepts and collections for fashion jewelry, beads, and gemstone-based pieces, aligning designs with brand aesthetics and global market trends. Day-to-day responsibilities include sketching and drawing detailed designs, creating technical specifications, and translating concepts into production-ready models using Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools. The role involves close collaboration with artisans, production teams, and management to refine prototypes, select gemstones and materials, and ensure designs are feasible for manufacturing while maintaining quality and cost parameters. The Jewelry Designer will also support continuous trend research, contribute to product catalogs and marketing visuals, and help uphold National Facets’ reputation for distinctive, high-quality jewelry.

Qualifications
  • Strong Jewelry Design and Fashion Jewelry skills, with the ability to create contemporary and traditional collections.
  • Proficiency in Drawing and sketching to develop clear, detailed design concepts and technical illustrations.
  • Experience in Product Design, including translating creative ideas into practical, manufacturable jewelry pieces.
  • Knowledge of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software for jewelry, such as Rhino, Matrix, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of gemstones, metals, and jewelry manufacturing processes, including beads and cabochons.
  • Diploma or degree in Jewelry Design, Fashion Design, Product Design, or a related field preferred.
  • Attention to detail, strong aesthetic sense, and ability to work collaboratively with artisans and production teams on-site.
  • Prior experience in jewelry or accessories design, especially in export-oriented or fashion-forward environments, is an advantage.
