Job summary

Wolfpack Labs in Gurugram invites a Jewellery Designer to shape the design language of a new brand, translating trends into commercially viable collections.

Ideal candidate has strong understanding of contemporary jewellery, excellent sketching, CAD proficiency, and the ability to lead concepts from concept to production while collaborating with CAD designers and production teams.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in jewellery design or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of jewellery construction, materials, stones, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent sketching and conceptualisation skills.
• Strong knowledge of CAD jewellery design and ability to work with CAD teams.
• Strong understanding of current Indian and international jewellery trends.

Responsibilities

• Develop original jewellery designs across rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants and statement pieces.
• Develop seasonal and occasion-based collections aligned with the brand's aesthetic.
• Create concepts, sketches, mood boards, design stories and collection themes.
• Conduct regular research on global jewellery trends, materials and consumer preferences.
• Explore different materials, stones, finishes, textures and techniques to create distinctive designs.
• Convert creative concepts into production-ready designs while maintaining design integrity.
• Work closely with CAD designers, manufacturers, vendors and production teams to develop samples and final products.
• Review CADs, prototypes, samples and detailing to ensure the final product matches the original design intent.
• Build and maintain a strong design library and archive of collections.
• Ensure designs are both aesthetically strong and commercially viable, considering pricing, manufacturability and target customers.
• Work on design iterations based on sampling, feedback, market response and sales insights.
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams for campaign concepts, product styling, launches and visual storytelling.

We are looking for a highly creative and detail-oriented Jewellery Designer to join our new jewellery brand and play a key role in building its design language from the ground up.

The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of contemporary jewellery, excellent design sensibility, and the ability to translate trends, inspirations, and consumer insights into commercially viable jewellery collections.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop original jewellery designs across categories such as rings, earrings, necklaces, bracelets, pendants and statement pieces.
• Develop seasonal and occasion-based jewellery collections aligned with the brand's aesthetic.
• Create concepts, sketches, mood boards, design stories and collection themes.

What We’re Looking For

• 2-5 years of experience in jewellery design or a closely related field.
• Strong understanding of jewellery construction, materials, stones, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent sketching and conceptualisation skills.
• Strong knowledge of CAD jewellery design and ability to work effectively with CAD teams.
• Strong understanding of current Indian and international jewellery trends.
• Excellent eye for detail, proportions, finishing, and aesthetics.
• Ability to develop a distinctive and consistent design language.
• Strong commercial understanding of what makes a design desirable and sellable.
• Ability to manage multiple collections and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating original jewellery design work is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working with a D2C / fashion / lifestyle / jewellery brand.
• Excellent illustration and rendering skills (Hand drawn or CAD / Procreate)
• Complete knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop. Knowledge of Rhino, JewelCAD, Blender, or other relevant 3D jewellery design software is preferred.
• Understanding of gemstones, gold, silver, brass, plating, casting, and other jewellery manufacturing techniques.
• Experience developing collections from concept to final production.
• Strong understanding of social media and fashion-led jewellery trends.
