Position Summary

Responsible for developing Design ranges that are new, trendy, innovative and commercially viable, for all categories, on a seasonal basis.

Principle Accountabilities

• Sketching out ideas to help the clients visualize the finished design.
• Forecasting trends, developing inspiration design direction for each season, maintaining Kirtilals identity.
• Reacting to general trends in the Jewellery industry as well as key fashion trends, visiting local shops to check on the competition.
• Designing traditional and Contemporary Jewellery designs.
• Net Browsing - Design galleries & researching Jewellery trends and keeping an eye on the fashion world to keep abreast of developments in the industry.
• Building reputation by networking, entering competitions, attending fairs, and producing high-quality work.
