Job summary

Alike Thoughts is seeking an experienced Oracle JDE CNC Administrator to manage CNC environments on Linux/Windows, perform upgrades, and ensure secure configurations. The role covers installation, tool-based surface testing, and reliable deployment workflows.

Responsibilities include managing user roles, environment copies, and job scheduling, plus ESU/ASU maintenance and Web/Fat client administration. This position is based in India and requires strong hands-on expertise.

Qualifications

• Strong experience as Oracle JDE CNC Administrator on Linux/Windows environments.
• Hands-on knowledge of Oracle JDE CNC installation and configuration.
• Experience with JDE upgrade activities and surface testing.
• Familiarity with JDE security management, task views, and environment copies.
• Exposure to package deployment, job scheduling, and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure JDE CNC environments across Linux/Windows.
• Lead JDE upgrade activities including tool releases and environment upgrades.
• Manage user roles, security, and access controls for CNC environments.
• Oversee package deployment, scheduling, and related scheduler tools.
• Handle web/fat client management and ESU/ASU management as part of maintenance.

Job description

Preferred candidate profile :

• Successful Oracle JDE CNC Administrator with Linux Windows Web logic Oracle WCC.
• Implementation experience of Enterprise One versions 9.0, 9.1 and 9.2
• Should have good understanding of Oracle JDE 9.X CNC installation Configuration.
• Good hands on experience of JDE Upgrade activities like performance of tools release upgrade, upgrading different environments, Surface testing, application release upgrade, etc.
• User role management, JDE Security management, Task views, CDK tool, Environment copy, etc.
• Package deployment, Job scheduling, Atomic JDE Scheduler tools
• Web client and Fat client management
• ESU/ASU management
• Expertise in Data source management Object configurations mappings
• Working knowledge on custom path code definition and environments, Job queue, Printer setups
• Infrastructure setups like Network access, Firewall, installation of mandatory softwares .
