Job summary

Capgemini seeks a skilled BY WMS Discrete specialist to lead requirement workshops, design documents, configuration, and testing for customer projects.

You will develop POCs, reports, MOCA, and interfaces via BY Integrator with ERP systems, while addressing performance and usability issues across the WMS landscape.

Responsibilities

• Perform BY WMS configuration, write test cases and guide testing (unit to UAT and performance).
• Design and develop POCs, reports, labels, and MOCA as part of enhancements and improvements.
• Develop WMS interfaces via BY Integrator with ERP systems.
• Debug and resolve issues across performance, bugs, and user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct requirement gathering workshops with client, gap analysis and provide solution/recommendations on fill the gaps in the WMS solution to meet the client requirements.
• Write functional (FSD) and technical design documents (TDD) to support development of final solutions as per customer requirements. Perform BY WMS configuration, write test cases and guide the testing team to conduct end to end testing (example unit testing, integration, support UAT, automation testing, performance testing etc.)
• Design and develop POCs to customer on the preferred solution.
• Design and Development Jasper reports, Labels, RF forms, Page builders and custom Moca development as required as part of minor enhancements and work on continuous improvement activities
• Design and Development of WMS interfaces through Integrator.
• Debug and resolve a variety of issues (bugs, performance, and user) by reading through trace files
• Develop utilities, procedures, and documentation upon customer requirements

Required Skills

• Relevant working experience in BY WMS Discrete. Good understanding and experience of Blue Yonder WMS, both Functional and Technical knowledge. Deep understanding of BY WMS processes and related BY tables.
• Must have at least one BY WMS - Discrete implementation project experience. Collaborate with other technical experts to design, develop, configure, test and deploy the WMS solution.
• Strong functional knowledge across various WMS function. Development, configuration experiences with BY Warehouse Management Solution.
• Proven ability to work independently on implementation/migration projects. Working experience on Inbound/Outbound process with BY WMS Discrete.
• Experience in developing Interfaces using BY Integrator with ERP systems. Should have knowledge on BY WMS system architecture, cloud hosting and deployment.
• Experience on developing page builders, Reports, labels, custom MOCA. In-depth understanding of key warehouse processes and functions such as receiving materials, quality management, order management, picking, packing, work orders, shipping, inventory management and replenishment and their configuration aspects.
• Ensure designs produced adhere to architectural roadmap and support the development, execution and operations of applications
• Ensure the overall user experience is taken into account when designing new solutions and services
• Should have the knowledge of architectural design patterns, performance tuning and functional and interface designs etc.
