Job summary

Tech Mahindra seeks an experienced AWS Migration Engineer to lead cloud modernization initiatives. You will migrate Kafka workloads to Amazon MSK, design scalable AWS architectures, and automate infrastructure with Terraform or CloudFormation.

The role requires hands-on AWS migration experience, strong Kafka knowledge, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, resilient solutions. This is a contract engagement based in Bangalore, India.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years on AWS.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS Migration and Amazon MSK.
• Experience migrating self-managed Kafka to Amazon MSK.
• Proficiency in AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda, ECS/EKS, and CloudWatch.
• Experience with Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Scripting knowledge in Python or Bash.
• Strong understanding of Apache Kafka architecture.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Engineering.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced AWS Migration Engineer with strong expertise in Amazon MSK (Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka) to support enterprise cloud migration and modernization initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience migrating Kafka-based workloads to AWS and building secure, scalable, and cloud-native solutions.
