vsp Astra Solutions in Hyderabad is seeking a Senior Java Architect to drive scalable, secure architectures for large-scale enterprise applications. You will lead architecture discussions, design end-to-end distributed systems, and mentor Java teams.

Candidates should show deep Java expertise, microservices, REST APIs, cloud familiarity, and strong design-pattern knowledge. Collaborate with product, DevOps, security, and infrastructure to modernize and improve the stack.

Job description

Required Skills:-

• 10+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in Java.
• Proven experience working as a Java Architect, Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Technology Architect.
• Strong expertise in Java 8/11/17+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with Microservices Architecture and distributed systems.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, API Gateway, and enterprise application integration.
• Excellent understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, Design Patterns, and System Design.
• Experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar messaging technologies.
• Strong database knowledge including Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar technologies.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Good understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong understanding of scalability, high availability, application security, and performance optimization.
• Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies.

Role & responsibilities :-

• Define and implement scalable, reliable, and secure application architectures using Java technologies.
• Design end-to-end solutions for complex enterprise applications and distributed systems.
• Lead architecture discussions and make technology decisions aligned with business requirements.
• Develop and maintain architecture diagrams, technical documentation, design standards, and best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to Java development teams.
• Review application designs and source code to ensure quality, scalability, maintainability, and security.
• Design and implement microservices-based architectures and RESTful APIs.
• Work with cloud platforms and modern cloud-native architectures.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and recommend solutions for scalability and optimization.
• Collaborate with product managers, business stakeholders, DevOps, security, and infrastructure teams.
• Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, and tools and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Ensure applications follow enterprise security, coding, integration, and architecture standards.
• Support modernization and migration of legacy applications to modern Java and cloud-based architectures.
• Participate in technical discussions, architecture reviews, proof-of-concepts, and solution planning.

Preferred candidate profile :-

• Experience leading architecture for large-scale enterprise applications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience conducting architecture and code reviews.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and architecture documentation.Relevant cloud or Java certifications are a plus.
