Qualifications

• Total experience 6–8 years in software development.
• Strong OOAD, design patterns and multi-tier architecture knowledge.
• Experience with Java/React, REST APIs and microservices.
• Experience leading globally distributed teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD, and testing frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Java/React developers.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and support a team of Java/React developers.
• Develop, review, and maintain high-quality code based on business and technical requirements.
• Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards, quality, and security best practices.
• Drive Sprint/ PI planning, estimation, solution reviews and technical discussions.
• Ensure code is aligned with defined architecture and technology standards
• Support CI/CD implementation, test automation, security and performance initiatives.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure application stability.
• Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing.
  

Must-have skills

• Testing: JUnit, Mockito, Karate, Cucumber, Jest, React Testing Library.
• Database: MongoDB/Oracle with strong PL/SQL skills.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Design, Design Patterns, and Multi-threaded Programming.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices.
• Strong knowledge of REST API development and microservices architecture.
• Proven experience in leading globally distributed teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  

Preferred:

Microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and DevOps exposure.

Qualifications

Computer Science foundation in a software engineering role & good knowledge of OOAD, scalability issues and multi-tiered solutions.
