Job summary

Pi Square Technologies in Hyderabad is seeking a highly skilled Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance API services, backend components, and integrations that power our application platform.

You will work closely with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and operations partners to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable payment capabilities while adhering to regulatory and organizational standards. Immediate joining preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices expertise.
• Solid understanding of OOP, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
• Knowledge of distributed backend systems, concurrency, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Splunk is a plus.

Position Overview:

• A highly skilled Java Developer to join Technology team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintainhigh performance API services, backend components, and integrations that power application platform.
• You will work closely with product owners, architects, QA engineers, and operational partners to deliver secure, resilient, and scalable payment capabilities that align with regulatory and organizational standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance.
• Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party services.
• Stay updated with emerging Java technologies and frameworks.

Skills:

• Proficiency in Java, Spring boot and related frameworks (Spring, Hibernate, etc.).
• Strong understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and data structures.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices, and relational databases (MySQL)
• Java, Spring / Spring Boot, REST API development, microservices, Familiarity with TRACE, Kafka, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Splunk, concurrency, and performance tuning
• Experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server),
• Experience building highly available, distributed backend systems.
