Job summary

Capgemini is seeking an experienced Java Developer in Chennai with 4–12 years of hands-on experience. You will design, develop, test, and deploy high-performance Java applications, build microservices with Spring Boot, and craft RESTful APIs.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions. You will also work in Agile/Scrum environments, ensuring security, scalability, and reliability while participating in code reviews and performance

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Core Java (Java 8/11/17).
• Hands-on with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA.
• Experience building microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Good knowledge of Hibernate/JPA and SQL databases.
• Familiar with Git, Maven/Gradle; CI/CD tools.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes; cloud exposure (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Exposure to Kafka or RabbitMQ is preferred.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies and code reviews.
