Job summary

BuildBros Innovations seeks a Backend Engineer to build scalable, secure backend services using Java 17+, Spring Boot 3, and PostgreSQL for our SaaS products.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of production Java Spring Boot experience.
• Strong SQL and PostgreSQL design and indexing.
• Experience with Docker, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with microservices and distributed systems.
• Redis, messaging queues, and event-driven architectures experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.
• Build secure RESTful APIs with JWT authentication, OAuth2, and RBAC.
• Optimize database queries, indexes, and schema design in PostgreSQL.
• Implement Redis caching, RabbitMQ message queues, and scheduled background jobs.
• Write comprehensive unit tests (JUnit 5, Mockito) and integration tests.

About This Role

Build the backbone of our SaaS products — scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services using Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure.

A Day in the Life

You refine a multi-tenant billing service, add idempotent webhooks, tune PostgreSQL indexes, and cut P99 latency after pairing with DevOps on cache invalidation.

What You'll Do

• Design and develop microservices using Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3
• Build secure RESTful APIs with JWT authentication, OAuth2, and RBAC
• Optimize database queries, indexes, and schema design in PostgreSQL
• Implement Redis caching, RabbitMQ message queues, and scheduled background jobs

What We're Looking For
