Job summary

EdgeVerve Systems Limited is seeking a skilled Java backend engineer in Bengaluru to design and implement microservices, REST APIs, and scalable architectures. You will work with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Hibernate/JPA, while optimizing for performance and reliability in distributed systems.

The candidate should demonstrate deep knowledge of core Java, OOPs, multithreading, and design patterns, with experience in CI/CD, Git workflows, and containerization. Cloud or DevOps exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

Job description

• Strong expertise in Core Java, OOPs, and multithreading concepts
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Hibernate/JPA
• Solid experience in designing microservices architecture and REST APIs
• Strong knowledge of KAFKA and good working knowledge of System design , Design Patterns
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
• Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD pipelines
• Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance tuning skills
• Experience in system integration and distributed systems

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools
• Exposure to security best practices and API governance
