Job summary

Maneva Consulting is seeking a Java Quarkus Developer to join our engineering team in India. The role focuses on building scalable backend services using Java and Quarkus, designing RESTful APIs, and implementing event-driven architectures with Kafka.

You will work in a containerized environment with Kubernetes and Docker, deploy on GCP, and collaborate with frontend teams using React and TypeScript. Strong security practices and CI/CD automation are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Java with Quarkus framework.
• RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems using Kafka.
• Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration.
• PostgreSQL schema design and database layer orchestration.
• GCP services and cloud-native development.
• CI/CD tools such as IDP, Harness, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• UI development with React-based Interstellar framework and TypeScript, with backend integration and security considerations.
• Security best practices in cloud environments, including SWIFT CSP compliance.
• TDD using JUnit and Mockito for backend testing.
• BDD using Cucumber for functional and UI testing.
• OO Design, Design Patterns, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Reactive Programming for scalable systems.
• SWIFT payment domain knowledge; AMH and SAA interfaces are a plus.

Job Title - Java Quarkus Developer

Experience - 6 - 10 Years

Requirements:-

• Strong proficiency in Java with Quarkus framework.
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems using Kafka.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of PostgreSQL schema design and database layer orchestration.
• Familiarity with GCP services and cloud-native development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as IDP, Harness, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Experience in building UI using React-based Interstellar framework and TypeScript, including integration with backend interfaces and adherence to security best practices.
• Strong understanding of secure coding principles, SWIFT CSP compliance, and security best practices in cloud environments.
• Proficiency in TDD using JUnit and Mockito for backend testing.
• Proficiency in BDD using frameworks like Cucumber for functional and UI testing.
• Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design Principles, Design Patterns, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Reactive Programming for building scalable and maintainable systems.
• Domain knowledge of SWIFT payment systems; development experience with SWIFT interfaces such as AMH (Alliance Messaging Hub) and SAA (SWIFT Alliance Access) is a plus.
