Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java, Quarkus, Microservices, Kafka, React, and Cloud-Native Development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications, ensuring high performance, security, and reliability in a cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Java and Quarkus.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs, microservices, and event-driven applications using Apache Kafka.
• Develop responsive and secure user interfaces using React-based Interstellar Framework and TypeScript.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas and data access layers.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain cloud-native applications leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as IDP, Harness, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Follow secure coding practices and ensure compliance with enterprise security standards, including SWIFT CSP guidelines.
• Write high-quality automated tests using JUnit, Mockito (TDD) and Cucumber (BDD).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and performance optimization initiatives.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong proficiency in Java and Quarkus Framework.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs, Microservices Architecture, and Apache Kafka.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL and database design principles.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, and frontend-backend integration.
• Familiarity with GCP and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Harness, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or IDP.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, Data Structures & Algorithms, and Reactive Programming.
• Expertise in TDD (JUnit, Mockito) and BDD (Cucumber).
• Strong understanding of application security, secure coding standards, and cloud security best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Banking & Financial Services domain.
• Knowledge of SWIFT Payment Systems.
• Experience working with SWIFT Alliance Messaging Hub (AMH) and SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA).
• Exposure to enterprise integration and payment processing systems.
