Job summary

The role requires 9+ years of experience in Java leadership, strong collaboration with product and UX teams, and a focus on performance, security, and reliability in distributed systems.

Qualifications

• 9+ years in Java product development or lead roles.
• Experience in Agile delivery and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of microservices, distributed systems, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Proficient in CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and related tooling.
• Ability to lead architecture decisions and code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive technical architecture and roadmaps.
• Lead feature development and align with product managers and stakeholders.

Java Product LeadExp- 9+, Location – Pune, Hyd, Budget- as per ARCCore Java, Product Engineering Lead, AI, System Design and Architecture

Technical Skills

• Java ( V 17/21)
• Spring ecosystem ( Spring boot, Spring batch, Spring cloud, Spring Security etc.)
• Microservices architecture, RESTful API design and distributed systems
• Relational database ( Oracle or Postgres SQL) and ORM frameworks (Hibernate/JPA)
• Messaging Systems (Kafka, Rabbit MQ) and caching solutions (Redis)
• Cloud Platforms ( AWS or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Github etc.)
• Software design principles – microservices design patterns, SOLID Principles etc.
• Payment domain experience is plus

AI Technologies (1-2 years’ experience)

• Experience in using Github Copilot or Cloude Code
• Knowledge of AI Agent and Agentic AI workflow development
• Good understanding of AI Concepts ( LLM, ML Algorithm, RAG, MCP, NLP, ML Ops Tools etc.)
• Knowledge of measuring the AI uses in different phases of PDLC.

Product Development (5+ Years of recent experience)

• Product development mindset ( Customer-centric thinking, outcome over output, Data driven decision making, Continuous learning, Balance business, technology and user needs, Prioritization discipline etc.)
• Solid understanding of product development lifecycle ( Vision, roadmap, backlog, spring planning, development, testing, CI/CD, product launch, monitoring etc.)
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX teams, and stakeholders.
• Drive feature development, enhancements.

Agile Delivery (5+ Years of recent experience)

• Participate in sprint planning, estimation and retrospectives.
• Track development progress and mitigate risks
• Coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum Practices.

Technical Leadership (4+ years of recent experience)

• Define and drive the technical architecture and technology roadmap.
• Make critical design and technology decisions.
• Establish coding standards, development guidelines, and best practices.
• Conduct architecture and code reviews.
• Ensure software quality, performance, scalability, and security.
• Lead and mentor software engineers.
• Conduct technical coaching and knowledge-sharing.
