Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai invites a Java/Kotlin Engineer to design, develop, and support a Global Remittance Platform. You will build secure, scalable microservices and ensure real-time payments across borders.

You will collaborate with product, architecture, and QA teams, implement CI/CD, and apply secure coding practices in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Java/J2EE and Kotlin development.
• Expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, RESTful APIs, JSON, and Web Services.
• Experience with Oracle/PostgreSQL, SQL optimization, and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Kafka/Event-Driven Architecture is preferred.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and payment transaction processing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Java, Kotlin, Spring Boot, and REST APIs. (Mandatory)
• Build and maintain payment processing, remittance, settlement, and transaction orchestration services. (Good to have)
• Integrate with banking systems, payment gateways, SWIFT, ACH, and third-party financial partners. (Good to have)
• Develop scalable APIs for global money transfer and digital payment solutions. (Good to have)
• Ensure high availability, performance, security, and regulatory compliance of payment applications.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, QA, and Business teams in an Agile environment.
• Support CI/CD implementation and cloud-native deployment strategies.
