Job summary

Antal International in Bengaluru is seeking a Java developer to design and build high-performance, scalable applications using Java and Spring. You will drive continuous delivery in an agile team, write automated tests, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate third-party APIs.

Drive continuous improvement and continuous delivery in our software development process within an agile development team. Write automated unit and integration tests as appropriate to support continuous integration pipelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams that include developers, QA, product owners, TPMs to implement the extensible and scalable solution. Evaluating third parties APIs and capabilities to integrate with product. Creation and maintenance of proper documentation for Design, Architecture, API specs, interfaces etc. Mentor engineers, perform code reviews, provide technical guidance, etc.

Qualifications

• Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security and other modern java stack technologies
• Relational databases like Oracle/PostgreSQL/MYSQL and any NoSQL database
• Must have experience with REST and XML/JSON/Protobuf
• Strong technical knowledge on various streaming frameworks like Kafka, Apache Flink, Apache Storm and caching solutions like Memcache/Redis etc.
• Industry API tooling such as Postman, Castlemock, Apigee, Swagger etc.
• Hands-on experience with tools like Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, version control and configuration systems like GITLAB, Jenkins, code quality tools like SonarQube, Fortify, Veracode etc.
• Application security standards like OWASP
• Git (Gitlab / Github)
• Strong analytical skills, with high problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Keep up the pace with the latest technology and developments in the industry

Required Skills

• Good to Have Knowledge in the Payments domain
• Cloud-Native Design & Containerisation (Docker)
