Job summary

GLOINNT Solutions is seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer in Bengaluru to lead automation framework development for API, microservices, and UI.

4–6 years of testing experience with strong API/UI testing skills and knowledge of AWS is a plus. You will design reusable tests, maintain scripts, and collaborate with Agile teams to ensure quality across releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level technical degree required with testing focus.
• 4–6 years of experience in Testing and Automation framework development.
• Experience in setting up automation frameworks from scratch for API and UI.
• Strong knowledge of API, microservices based architecture and Rest-based automation.
• Experience with various API and UI testing tools and automation frameworks (BDD/Cucumber).
• Ability to create reusable automated tests and conduct SQL querying.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain automation frameworks for backend API/Microservices and frontend UI.
• Perform automation test execution and analyze reports (daily/weekly).
• Log defects and track them to closure; update scripts for releases.
• Work with functional teams to adjust tests for changes.
• Utilize test reporting tools (Extent/Allure) and contribute to Agile processes.

Job Description:

Overall, 4 to 6 Years of Experience in Testing and Automation framework development

• Should be strong in setting up automation framework from scratch in both backend API/Microservices and frontend UI Automation, such as Karate framework, Selenium, Restful services or equivalent.
• Knowledge of AWS Such EC2, Lambda Functions, Baston Host, VPC etc.
• Should be strong in API, Microservices based architecture, Rest based application/Rest assured Automation.
• Should have experience in various API and UI Testing tools.
• Should have experience in Automation frameworks like (BDD and cucumber framework)
• Should have experience in experience in creating re-usable automated tests.

AWS Cloud Knowledge is plus, AWS based EC2, Lambda etc application automation

• Perform periodical maintenance of Automation test scripts.
• Work closely with functional team, identify functional/UI changes and update scripts accordingly (release wise).
• Automation test execution and report analysis (Daily/Weekly/Bi-weekly/Need basis)
• Defect logging for issues identified by automation test script execution and track the same for closure.
• Should have knowledge in Test Reporting tools (like Extent report and Allure)
• Should have good knowledge in Agile development methodology.
• Should have good knowledge Designing test cases, defect logging, executing test cases.
• Should have knowledge in SQL queries.

. Knowledge on Non-Functional Testing, NFR and Performance testing.

Should be strong in Logical, reasoning, and analytical skills in building scripts.

• Good communication both oral and written skills, team player and dynamic.
