Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Bengaluru seeks a capable QA Automation Engineer to drive automation efforts using Java and Selenium WebDriver, with API automation via RestAssured or Karate. Qualifications

• Hands-on coding in Java or another language.
• API automation using RestAssured or Karate framework.
• Experience in test automation framework development/maintenance.
• Web automation with Selenium WebDriver.
• CI/CD experience with GitHub, Jenkins.
• Cucumber and TestNG proficiency.
• RDBMS (Oracle/Postgres) and NoSQL (Cassandra/MongoDB) knowledge.
• Ability to debug failures and root-cause issues.
• Performance testing with JMeter (nice to have).
• Playwright/TypeScript or Cypress exposure preferred.
• Mobile app testing with Appium is a plus.

• Deep hands-on and coding skills with Java or Other programming language
• API Automation using RestAssured / Karate Framework
• Relevant Work Experience in Test automation framework development/maintenance
• Hands-on experience to develop web automation using selenium web driver
• Hands-on CI/CD experience in Github, Jenkins
• Hands-on experience on Cucumber and TestNG
• Should have knowledge about RDBMS (Oracle/Postgres) and non relational database system (Cassandra/MongoDB)
• Debugging and troubleshooting: Ability to effectively debug test failures and identify the root cause of issues in the application or test script.
• Good to have Performance Testing experience with JMeter
• Good to have Playwright with TypeScript or Cypress
• Good to have Mobile app testing and automation experience using appium
