Job summary

Envision Technology Solutions is seeking an experienced Java developer to lead the design and development of microservices on Google Cloud Platform. You will build scalable services with Spring Boot and collaborate with DevOps to implement robust CI/CD pipelines and container orchestration with Docker and Kubernetes.

You will mentor engineers, translate business requirements into technical designs, and participate in sprint planning while staying current with cloud-native best practices to drive

Job description

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design and development of Java-based microservices using Spring Boot.

• Architect and implement solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using services like GKE, Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Firestore, BigQuery, etc.

• Build secure, scalable, and resilient microservices and APIs.

• Define architecture standards, coding guidelines, and best practices.

• Collaborate closely with DevOps and Cloud teams to implement CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.

• Mentor and guide team members in agile squads, perform code reviews, and support technical upskilling.

• Work with business analysts, product owners, and architects to understand and translate functional requirements into technical design.

• Participate in sprint planning, effort estimation, and risk management.

• Stay up to date with the latest in cloud-native architecture and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
