Job summary

Cotality India is hiring a senior software engineer to join our Core Technology team. You will own the end-to-end technical solution lifecycle, write high-quality code, and troubleshoot complex issues while collaborating across teams to deliver robust, scalable applications.

The role requires strong OO fundamentals, extensive Java/Spring Boot/Angular experience, and cloud/DevOps familiarity. You will contribute to a fast-paced, innovative environment with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 9+ years of directly related experience.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, RESTful API, and cloud services (Google Cloud preferred).
• CI/CD automation and Terraform familiarity.
• Knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (DynamoDB/ElasticSearch).
• Version control with Git (Bitbucket/GitHub preferred).

• Develop creative, functional, maintainable, applications and components
• Write high quality, re-usable code following industry best practices
• Provide development estimates for enhancement requests
• Perform design/code reviews and help maintain code quality, performance, and application responsiveness
• Test programs to ensure quality and expected results before deployment into production environments
• Investigate and resolve bugs and/or deficiencies in project codebases
• Work on projects of moderate to advanced complexity
• Keep skills up-to-date with current and future software technologies through continued education and self-learning to ensure maximum functionality and efficiency
• Collaborate both in the team and cross-functionally, and contribute in group decision-making

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 9+ years of directly related experience.
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming concepts.
• Experience with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, RESTful API Experience with Cloud Services; Google Cloud preferred.
• Experience in web development model with hands on experience developing products leveraging UI technology stacks like JavaScript/Angular or equivalent Preferred Experience Experience with Google Cloud, cloud deployment and DevOps mindset.
• Familiarity with CI/CD automations and tools
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as code tool such as Terraform
• Knowledge of both relational (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL(DynamoDB and/or ElasticSearch) database technologies
• Knowledge of build pipelines (Jenkins preferred)
• Experience with Version control systems such as Git (BitBucket or Github preferred)
