Job summary

GlobalLogic, Bengaluru, is seeking a Full Stack Developer to join a Scrum team and deliver high‑quality features across frontend and backend using React.js and Java/Spring Boot. You will ensure tasks stay on schedule and align with product goals.

You’ll build RESTful APIs, deploy to AWS, and participate in design reviews, testing, and automation while collaborating with product owners and teammates. Strong communication and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or related field.
• 3 to 4.5 years of full stack development experience with Java/Spring Boot and React.js.
• Experience deploying and managing apps on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develops full stack software solutions by studying requirements and collaborating with product owner.
• Designs, codes, tests, and deploys complex features (Java/Spring Boot backend and React frontend) meeting standards.
• Builds and maintains RESTful APIs and integrates them with React-based front‑end components.
• Deploys, monitors, and manages application infrastructure on AWS to ensure reliability and cost efficiency.
• Performs design and code reviews to ensure best practices across frontend and backend.
• Ensures assigned deliverables are delivered on schedule and with quality.
• Documents and demonstrates software solutions with documentation and diagrams.
• Mentors junior team members and participates in Scrum ceremonies to achieve goals.
• Ensures end-to-end quality and exit criteria for features.
• Troubleshoots issues across stack and implements fixes independently.

Full Stack Developer is an Engineering member in a Scrum team, responsible for ensuring engineering deliverables are on schedule and of high quality, on the application/product features owned. Works on design, development, and testing of medium and complex features across both frontend and backend layers.

Bachelor’s degree in computer programming, computer science, or a related field.

• 3 to 4.5 years of full stack development experience, with strong hands‑on expertise in Java and Spring Boot for backend, React.js for frontend, and experience deploying and managing applications on AWS.
• Good to have skills: Storybook/Zeroheight (Design System/component library), GIT, Maven, Bamboo/Jenkins/Harness, Ansible, Snyk, SonarQube, REST APIs, AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, CloudWatch), Google Suite, Slack, Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence).
• Well‑versed in working in product engineering teams, following agile development best practices and adhering to all Scrum ceremonies.
• Excellent technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills across the full stack.
• Strong coding, unit test, test‑automation, and debugging skills for both frontend (React) and backend (Java/Spring Boot) components.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills. Critical thinker and problem solver.

• Deploys, monitors, and manages application infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
• Performs design and code reviews (post peer‑review) to ensure design and coding best practices are followed on both frontend and backend.
• Ensures assigned deliverables are delivered on schedule and on quality.
• Documents and demonstrates software solutions by developing documentation, diagrams, charts, code comments, and updating knowledge artifacts.
• Flags any risks, issues, or dependencies to the Team Lead or Engineering Manager for speedy resolution.
• Effectively contributes in all Scrum ceremonies in the team, to ensure sprint goals and objectives are met.
• Ensures development of complex product/application features, meeting exit/DoD criteria.
• Quickly troubleshoots issues across the stack, independently implementing fixes with minimal direction.
• Ensures defined quality standards across the end-to-end product development life‑cycle (design, coding, unit/integration/regression/acceptance testing, release) on features owned.
• Mentors, coaches, and supports junior team members to help achieve team objectives and goals.
