Job summary

FIS India Bangalore seeks a Java Full Stack Developer (6 - 10 Years) to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. You will build RESTful APIs, microservices, and responsive UIs, collaborating with architects, QA, DevOps, and business stakeholders.

The role requires strong Java expertise (8/11/17), Spring Boot, databases like Oracle and PostgreSQL, and experience across Dev, SIT, UAT, Pre-Prod, and Production environments. Agile delivery experience is essential.

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of Java full stack development experience.
• Experience with Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, microservices.
• Knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL, SQL, JPA/Hibernate.
• Familiarity with design patterns, Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD.
• Linux/Unix deployment experience across multiple environments.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Banking or Financial Services domain experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications using Java and related technologies.

• Contribute to performance tuning, security compliance, and modernization initiatives.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure enterprise applications using Java and related technologies.
• Build RESTful APIs and microservices‑based solutions using Spring Boot.

What you will need:

• 7– 12 Years of experience as Java Full stack Developer Extensive experience in Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, Microservices Architecture, REST APIs, Oracle Database and PostgreSQL, SQL and JPA/Hibernate, Design Patterns, Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD Pipelines, Linux/Unix Deployment experience across Dev, SIT, UAT, Pre‑Prod, and Production environments Application Troubleshooting and Production Support Strong OOPS concept with UI knowledge.
• Strong hands‑on experience in Java‑based enterprise application development.
• Experience building and supporting cloud‑native and microservices‑based applications.
• Proven experience in deployment, release management, and production support across multiple environments.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Added bonus if you have: Banking or Financial Services domain experience is preferred.
• Experience in Digital Banking, Payments, Core Banking integrations, or Financial Platforms is an added advantage.
• Exposure to regulatory and security compliance requirements in banking environments is desirable.
